What does Arkstone provide instead?

OneChoice is clinical decision support software. It reviews the laboratory result and patient information sent to Arkstone and presents evidence-based treatment guidance together with the reasoning behind it, so the treating clinician can evaluate that guidance and decide what is right for the patient. The recommendations are produced using curated clinical evidence, supervised machine learning, and review by Arkstone's clinical team.

Showing the reasoning is central to the design. The FDA's guidance on Clinical Decision Support Software emphasizes that a healthcare professional should be able to independently review the basis for a software recommendation rather than rely on it alone. That is why OneChoice Plus displays the inputs used, the MedsMatrix, the clinical rationale, and the supporting literature.

Can I speak with an Arkstone physician about my patient?

Some members of Arkstone's team are physicians, and they are glad to explain how a recommendation was generated, what evidence supports it, or how to interpret a section of a report.

They cannot discuss patient-specific details or consult on treatment decisions. Arkstone does not examine patients, does not review the complete medical record, and does not provide medical care.
