What is the Infection Complexity ArkScore?

The Infection Complexity ArkScore™ is one component of the ArkScore™ service from Arkstone. It reflects how clinically complex the patient's infection is, based on the pathogens present and any resistance genes detected.

A lower Infection Complexity rating reflects a simpler treatment scenario. A higher rating reflects an infection where treatment options are more limited, whether due to the number of pathogens, the type of resistance detected, or the specific organisms involved. Arkstone's clinical team incorporates this rating into the overall ArkScore assessment that accompanies every OneChoice® report.
