What is the Antimicrobial Resistance ArkScore?

Modified on Tue, May 12 at 2:02 PM

The Antimicrobial Resistance ArkScore™ is one component of the ArkScore™ service from Arkstone. It reflects the level of antimicrobial resistance present in the detected organisms.

A lower rating reflects low resistance, meaning the antibiotic of choice can be given with less concern about adverse outcomes. A higher rating reflects greater resistance, which limits the available antibiotic options and increases risk to the patient. Arkstone's clinical team incorporates this rating into the overall ArkScore assessment that accompanies every OneChoice® report.
