The FDA's guidance on Clinical Decision Support Software emphasizes that healthcare professionals should be able to independently review the basis for a software recommendation rather than rely on it alone. OneChoice Plus helps with that review by showing the relevant inputs, MedsMatrix, clinical rationale, and supporting literature.

What should I confirm before prescribing?

Check that the diagnosis and specimen source are correct, review the complete lab result, and confirm allergies, organ function, pregnancy status, concurrent medications, and other relevant history. Then decide whether the regimen, dose, route, and duration fit the patient.

The treating clinician always makes the final decision and may accept, modify, or decline the OneChoice recommendation.
