What is OneChoice Plus, and how is it used?

Think of the printed OneChoice Report as the summary and OneChoice Plus as the deeper, interactive view.

Each report includes a QR code that opens the matching report in OneChoice Plus. There, you can explore the recommendation without trying to fit every detail onto the printed page.

What can I review?

• The recommended regimen, dose, route, duration, and alternatives
• MedsMatrix coverage across clinically relevant organisms
• Organism, resistance-gene, and drug details
• Resistance genes that were tested
• How often a resistance class has been detected in public NIH isolate data, when that data is available
• Why a drug may be excluded or have unclear efficacy
• Clinical considerations and supporting literature

What do the resistance details show?

Hovering over a resistance icon in the MedsMatrix identifies the resistance class involved, along with any drug-specific note that applies. When public NIH isolate data exists for that class and organism, the tooltip also shows how frequently those genes have been detected — helpful context for judging how common a resistance mechanism is.

What is LiveFactor?

LiveFactor lets you explore additional considerations such as pregnancy, breastfeeding, allergies, resistance genes, renal function, hepatic impairment, and concurrent medications when available. Renal tools can also estimate creatinine clearance (CrCl) and eGFR.

Some changes may find an existing recommendation that matches the selected factors. Others simply add useful context, so not every change will produce a different recommendation.
