How is dosing of antibiotics determined?

Modified on Mon, Oct 23, 2023 at 9:32 AM

OneChoice® provides dosing for antibiotics based on some patient-specific criteria giving prescribers a baseline point of reference. However, dosing may not be tailored to a patient's specific needs based on their own medical history, creatinine clearance, and liver functions. Providers should adjust dosing based on the patient specifics and clinical scenario.

Healthcare providers can access dosing calculators (GFR and CrCL), as well additional references dosing so that hepatic and renal impairment can be accounted for, using OneChoice Plus.
