Depending on what was provided, the original report may include factors such as age, sex, specimen source, diagnosis, pregnancy or breastfeeding status, resistance genes, and reported drug allergies. Can I explore additional patient factors?
Yes. OneChoice Plus includes LiveFactor tools for pregnancy or breastfeeding, allergies, resistance genes, renal function, hepatic impairment, and concurrent medications when available. Some changes may find an existing recommendation that matches the selected factors, while others provide additional context without changing the recommendation.
Does LiveFactor update the patient chart?
No. LiveFactor does not edit the source laboratory result or save information to the patient's permanent medical record.
Before prescribing, review the patient's medication list, prior cultures, organ function, comorbidities, treatment history, and other relevant clinical information. OneChoice is one part of that review, not a replacement for it.
